Greg Mayne
Greg is a Programme Officer on the International Human Rights Programme at Oak Foundation where he leads the Programme’s grant making in the areas of criminal justice, corporate accountability and in the geographies of India and Brazil. He has a particular interest in how new technologies ranging from facial recognition to predictive policing to the massive expansion of police data collection practices are impacting on the fair and effective functioning of criminal justice systems around the world. Originally from Australia he has degrees in Business and Law and a Masters in International Law from the School of Oriental and Asian Studies (SOAS, London) and previously worked as a consultant and for a number of civil society organisations working on issues related to the rule of law as well as for the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva. He is also a member of the Advisory Boards of Ariadne (the European Funders for Social Change and Human Rights network) and the Sage Fund.
