Steven Murdoch
Steven Murdoch is Professor of Security Engineering in the Information Security Research Group of University College London. His research includes payment system security, privacy-enhancing technologies, and censorship resistance. He is the creator of Tor Browser and served as Chief Technology Officer for the OpenNet Initiative, conducting surveys of worldwide Internet censorship. Steven is a Distinguished Scientist at OneSpan, a member of the Advisory Council of the Foundation for Information Policy Research (FIPR), and a Fellow of the IET and BCS.
