Advocacy Volunteer Training
In order to protect our digital rights, we want to empower more volunteers to help advocate effectively to their elected representatives. We have created a role profile for advocacy volunteers, and we now want to help train more people to undertake this role effectively.
So on Wednesday 24th January at 7.00 pm we are hosting advocacy volunteer training on Zoom. This training is aimed at supporters and members of ORG who want to learn how to effectively advocate for digital rights in their communities. We anticipate the session will last about an hour.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this training session you should be able to :
- Know how to identify current digital rights issues and the key points to raise.
- To arrange, prepare and effectively engage with your MP at an in-person meeting.
- Put digital rights issues on the map in your local area.
