ORG response to Apple killing its data protection tools for UK users

Open Rights Group has responded to Apple’s announcement that they will no longer be able to offer Advanced Data Protection tools after UK security row.

James Baker, Platform Power Programme Manager at Open Rights Group said:

“The Home Office’s actions have deprived millions of Britons from accessing a security feature. As a result, British citizens will be at higher risk of their personal data and family photos falling into the hands of criminals and predators.”
