Mariana Canto

Mariana is a Chevening Scholar in Science and Technology in Society at the University of Edinburgh and a local organiser for ORG in Edinburgh. She worked with the Secretariat of the Internet Governance Forum at the United Nations and today, as a digital rights researcher, she investigates the relationship between new technologies and power asymmetries.
